Howdy, everyone! My name is Kallias, my online alias is Da12thKind, and this is my personal online encyclopedia: Kallipedia!

Kallipedia is, as I’ve just described, an online encyclopedia albeit one that is centered around my own projects: my Let’s Plays, Video Essays, Game Design Projects, Writing Projects, and more! Navigation through the pages can be done by clicking on the links in the menu to the left of this window. Pages will pop up in this box that you’re actively looking at.

This website is very roughly cobbled together, but it would have been a lot worse if I hadn’t consulted my friend. She was able to answer a lot of my questions and get me back up to speed on current HTML features and good practices. So, yeah… Thank you, bestie!

Also, like, shoutout to the wonderful soul that created Feather Wiki, as that is what’s powering this whole mess of an encyclopedia!

As you can guess, this whole project is very much still a major WIP (Work-In-Progress), but I wanted it to be live so y'all can see it grow and become complete over time.

If you like data and trackers and whatnot, I've got a page tracker I'm trying to keep updated here!

If you come across any missing or incomplete pages, or you wish for me to go in and elaborate more on a particular page, please email me at: CreativeKalli@protonmail.com

Video Projects - Main Page

As the title would suggest, this section is all about my various video projects, which are broken up into three main categories: Let’s Plays, Video Essays, and Mini Pack.

(NOTE: In the future, I do plan on including other kinds of content I’ve made such as short films or podcasts, but that’s not something I’m concerned with at the present time.)

LET’S PLAYS

This category is all of my gaming videos that fall under this classic style of video game playthrough wherein footage of a video game is recorded while the video making provides commentary, either in the moment (live commentary) or during the editing process (post commentary).

This style of video making has been my favorite thing to be making, even after they seem to be falling out of favor with the YouTube algorithm. There’s just something about making a serialized production of a video game walkthrough that I enjoyed so much.

VIDEO ESSAYS

This category is for all of the video essays I have made over the years. A video essay is best defined as an informative audio-visual presentation with topics that range from economics to game development to politics and more. The defining feature of video essays is that they are usually self-contained in one a video, but if a topic is substantial enough, it might be broken up into multiple installments.

The actual content and structure of a video essay is truly up to the person making it. For me, I still have yet to find a style that works best for me, as you’ll probably see for yourself if you take a moment to watch through a handful of the ones I’ve made.

MINI PACK

Mini Pack is the titular series for the YouTube channel, and soon to be website, which is all about opening small packs of trading cards that are 3 to 5 cards in capacity.

Mini Pack as the host location is also home to two other series: Splatter Pack, a series about opening up the virtual booster packs one can get for the virtual card game that exists within the video game Splatoon 3; and Pocket Pack, a series coming soon about opening up the digital booster packs on can get in the mobile game Pokémon: Trading Card Game Pocket.

Let's Plays - Main Page

The Let’s Play subtopic of the Video Projects topic goes over just about all of the Let’s Plays that I’ve made, either on my current YouTube channel and website, as well as YouTube channels I’ve made in the past, both of which have their own subcategories as "Da12thKind" and "Older Channels," respectively.

As a recap…

This category is all of my gaming videos that fall under this classic style of video game playthrough wherein footage of a video game is recorded while the video making provides commentary, either in the moment (live commentary) or during the editing process (post commentary).

This style of video making has been my favorite thing to be making, even after they seem to be falling out of favor with the YouTube algorithm. There’s just something about making a serialized production of a video game walkthrough that I enjoyed so much.

As of present, only the content released onto the most current YouTube channel is available on the main website (Da12thKind.com) with the older content saved onto my personal archive drives.

Each Let’s Play that was, or will be, released on the main website has, or will have, its own page with information regarding number of episodes, runtime, and background information that pertains to the production of that given series.

Da12thKind Let’s Plays – Main Page

This page is the landing spot for the subsection of the Let’s Plays subtopic dedicated to all of the Let’s Plays I released under the moniker of “Da12thKind,” specifically the 2nd iteration of the channel that was created during that whole Google+ integration mess, which I then later decided to be my new personal channel after the old one was turned into a collab channel, which then shut down after some time.

This Let’s Play number system began with Let’s Play #01: 007 Nightfire for the Nintendo GameCube, and it has continued to persist to this day with the numbering system having hit 50 with Let's Play #50 - Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars.

Each series will have its own page complete with series name, status, start date, end date, number of episodes, total length, and a collection of all the thumbnails for that series.

Let's Play that have their data marked with a strike-through are projects that I have delisted and are no longer available to the public.

Older Channels Let’s Plays – Main Page

This page is the landing spot for the subsection of the Let's Plays subtopic dedicated to all of the Let’s Plays I released on my previous YouTube channels, both ones I owned and collab channels I helped out with.

These projects are all ones that I don’t have any surviving information on except for what all is still on YouTube with some of those videos having never been downloaded onto my personal archive before they were lost forever...

Instead of each page being dedicated to a series, is the case with the Da12thKind Let’s Plays subsection, these pages will instead be dedicated to all of the series that were released on a given channel.

Video Essays – Main Page

The Video Essays subtopic of the Video Projects category goes over all of the video essays that I have made and released onto the Close Encounters With Da12thKind YouTube channel as well as the soon to be made created Kalli’s Essays website (release date: TBD).

Video Essays as a genre of video take the form of someone speaking into a camera or narrating over footage about a topic of their choosing. The topics that can be applied to the concept of video essays can be as simple as a studying technique or as complex as the current state of the United States’ public education system, and, of course, anything in between. There is no set length for what a video essay can be, but smaller topics tend to only become videos no longer than 15 minutes while more complex topics can create multi-hour epics.

In the case of my video essays, their lengths have been as short as 4 minutes and 49 seconds to as long as 41 minutes and 23 seconds, with the average length being roughly 14 minutes and 49 seconds, as of the original writing of this page. The topics of these video essays have ranged from opinions on video games to film critiques and even personal journeys I’ve undergone.

Each video essay has its own page with information on its length, release date and some background information.

Mini Pack – Year 1

This page is for the first season/year of Mini Pack (the series). Moving forward, in-text references to the different years of Mini Pack will be referred to as “seasons.”

Unfortunately, the original release dates for this series have been lost after transferring the da12thkind.com domain and having it point towards the current build hosted on NeoCities. Based off of creation dates of various raw files, Mini Pack’s first run seems to have started sometime around or after the summer of 2019.

Mini Pack’s first season ran for a total of 52 episodes, with episodes airing once a week, hence the occasional reference to Mini Pack’s seasons as “years.” Episodes were first recorded at Kallias’s computer for the first 32 episodes before the setup would be changed to her standing in front of hanging bookshelf, both in their original bedroom at the time. Episode 41 would see another change in setup, as she would have just completed moving rooms to a marginally larger one across the hall, and it would be in this location that she filmed the rest of the first season.

The small-capacity booster packs opened on the show originally were sourced from their local Dollar Tree stores, as there were many of them available at the time, for both Pokémon and Yu Gi Oh. At some point, she found a couple booster packs for the Attack on Titan trading card game, but there would only be two episodes made for that particular card game. The first season would be a near 2/3rd-1/3rd mix of openings of Pokémon and Yu Gi Oh booster packs, with each franchise having 37 episodes and 13 episodes, respectively.

A card tracking spreadsheet would be made for viewers to see what cards had been pulled, but it has since been abandoned.

Created:

Mini Pack – Year 2

This page is for the second season/year of Mini Pack (the series). Moving forward, in-text references to the different years of Mini Pack will be referred to as “seasons.”

As of writing the draft for this page, Mini Pack’s second season has been on hiatus for roughly two years, give or take a few months. The season temporarily ended after 14 episodes had aired onto the official Mini Pack YouTube channel. The release of Season 2 of Mini Pack also coincided with the release of the first spin-off series to be hosted on the channel: Splatter Pack.

This season is recorded using the same general setup and filming location as the end of the one before: in Kallias’s then-new room, standing in front of a set of bookshelves with a microphone sitting within the frame between her and the camera.

The thumbnail design has changed dramatically since the end of Season 1, with the border now being made of the backs of Pokémon cards, the top left having “Mini Pack!” written, the bottom left having the season and episode numbers in the form of Sx/xx, and a card pulled from that episode’s pack displayed at a random angle and size.

As with the first season, the average episode was somewhere between 35 to 50 seconds in length.

Game Design Projects - Main Page

This category, as the name implies, is all about all of my game design projects, with the focus being on the games I've made, both those released and some that haven't been released, but might be one day. This category is broken down in the following manner:

Tabletop Games #

This term is acting as a catch-all for all my "physical" games, such as card games, tabletop rpgs, board games, and zine games. Basically, if it's not a video game, it goes here!

Video Games #

This one is pretty straight forward. The different games I've made are going to be grouped into Kalli's Simple Games, Kalli's Simple Games - Extra Small Bytes Edition, and Misc./Isolated Releases.

As stated before, this is going to be broken down into the following groups/subtopics:

Kalli's Simple Games*

Kalli's Simple Games - Extra Small Bytes Edition

Misc./Isolated Releases

*Something to mention is that Kalli's Simple Games will have a few different sub-series for different systems in the future, but they'll be subpages of the main collection with information about its placement within the main collection and the sub-series.

Kalli's Simple Games

Kalli's Simple Games is a series/collection I started as a way to get myself to make more video games, as I normally gravitate towards making tabletop games. This series was inspired after going down a rabbit hole doing research into the Simple series, a whole bunch of budget titles released in Japan, spurred by going down another rabbit hole of learning about the existence of the G-Mode Archives, and having bought a large chunk of the entries with my Japanese-based alt account from the Switch eShop.

Kalli's Simple Games - Extra Small Bytes Edition

This is an off-shoot of the main Kalli's Simple Games collection for games that are shorter than those in the main collection. The general rule of thumb is that if the game could be consider to be super short, then it's an "Extra Small Bytes" entry. This only applies for games being made after Too Much, but, of course, sometimes video game projects will not fit into either collection.

Writing Projects – Main Page

This category is dedicated to the various writing projects I’ve created and posted over on my itchio page. As of now, these projects are divided into two subcategories: zines and books.

ZINES

The projects that fall under the sub-category of zines are then divided further into smaller groups: Palette Zine, Main Collection, Let’s Zine, and Standalone Entries.

BOOKS

As of April 2025, there are only two groups that are dividing this sub-category: The Faith Wars Saga and Standalone Entries.

Zines - Main Page

What Is A Zine? #

A zine (pronounced "zeen" as in the end of "magazine") is best described as short, independent works of literature that are self-published for a small audience. For the most part, zines take the form of the classic 8-page-on-one-side-of-a-sheet-of-paper style.

Collections #

I have divided my zines into different collections. They are as follows:

For all but "Standalone Entries," there are more than one "series" that exists within them, so they will be listed under each section where needed.
